The theme park, itself, is well-staffed, with numerous lifeguards and workers however, the two times we went to get food, it was not a good experience. We probably won't be back for many years, and my kid is now traumatized and scared to death of any slide, so need to work on that now. 250lbs is a bit strict considering no other water park I've ever been to did that, and I've been 255 lbs for 10 years, I just stay this weight. But they need to seriously adjust these rules. We did enjoy the lazy river, food was decent, and other rides and pools were fun, so I won't kill the review. How they'll kick me off a slide for being 6 lbs overweight, but let my 46 lb 6 year old go by himself, is beyond me. Honestly they should have shut the water off immediately and just let me go get him, but nah. He fell off his tube (he's too small) and got stuck on the slide, terrified, and screaming, and we had to yell him down while he walked down holding onto the side's of the slide. Well they made my 6 year old (47" tall) go on a tube by himself down the tube slide. Secondly, they kicked me off the tube rides too, so my wife and 6 year old went by themselves down those too, and I went to the bottom on foot.

I rode every slide at great wolf lodge with my family with zero issues.Īs such the new slide I couldn't ride at all and my wife and kid had to go by themselves, he's 6.

I'm 6' tall, overweight sure, but 6 lbs seems a little ridiculous to kick someone off a ride. Really disappointed in being kicked off rides for being 6 lbs over 250 lbs.
